Fantastic! Love this from you!

Yo really nice! Great bass work, I'd love to check your sound design out some time. Absolutely insane, and nice mix. Background elements on point. Fantastic!

Excellent! But variations and different themes could make it stand out heaps! Really brilliant blends of sounds and use equal parts of space and density

Avrik responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

Wow this is really well done! You don't even need an orchestra to perform this as it sounds almost perfectly realistic already. I think the themes really match and perform the message of each part, and the composition as a whole really highlights 'The Forgotten Journey' as a holistic representation of an idea, and as a choice to score a game. I'm in awe at this, congratulations on such an amazing score. Also a nice use of 5/4 ;)

Wow this is really great! I love the driving orchestral drums towards the end, and the nobility and heroism those chord progressions denote! Really cool!

Wow this is a cool journey! Definitely a really 80's vibe from this, with really cool sound design texturing, and nice progressions and melodies. One thing to mention production wise, and very picky it is, is that around 1:10 to 1:30, there's a drum beat, but all of the drums except for a shaker/hihat are panned very right, and the shaker is more mid right. Also that synth is really left panned. Realistically, that melodic riffing synth should've floated over the top of the mix in a wider mid layer than the chord synths, and the kick and snare should've been mid mono and mid stereo respectively. The hihats could've stayed panned, but a better technique may have been a wide mid pan rather than a less stereo right pan.

Other than that this really suits a more modern interpretation of the brief! Really great!

Incredible! Really stands up to the 'original'! Such a great vibe and energy about it, like i'm travelling in a futuristic 80's envisioned city... like a Ready Player One vibe maybe even. So much respect for your music dude.

Constructive Feedback! I actually really like this, i think that throughout, the clap on 2 and 4 should definitely be brought up, especially in the chorus/drop. It's barely audible as is.

Have you got any tuning on the vocal? A lot of it is just a little bit out of tune, so you might want to either use an autotune on it, or go in manually and correct any weird pitch issues (you could almost get away with it as it is but maybe not for a label pitch).

Really well done honestly, it's a good mix other than the claps needing to come up a lil. Sending the best of luck.

JohnnyFrizz responds:

This is some great feedback! Thank you so much! I will definitely work on those pitch issues with the vocals and bring those claps up a couple dbs :)

Thanks again, it's reviews like this that really make a difference :D

This is so clean!! Loving the funky vibe, almost sounds like a 90's backstreet boys track! Super modern-retro vibe

Vista-Sound13 responds:

Wow, I can't believe that! This means a lot, thank you!

EDIT: Sorry for the wait!

This is so cool! Incredibly fun soundtrack kind of vibe!

sorohanro responds:

Thanks for the review. That's such an old track... I think is the first or second track I made in FL Studio, back then called Fruity Loops. I had to record the trumpet parts in Cool Edit and import them as samples.
